My name's Brad Yee. im an 18 year old with a passion for the outdoors and i live in Regina, Saskatchewan. Im gonna try out this blog thing to document my backpacking trips with fellow adventurers Dean Johnson and George Wang. We are all relatively new to backpacking with about 3 trips under our belts but that number will be much higher one day.
The Backpacking Crew
Our Goal with the blog is for at the very least, self documentation. But we would also like to share our wilderness experiences with anyone willing to read, and to give specefic details about trips,trails, parks ect to other outdoorsmens and womans but there will be postings with probably anything pertaining to the natural world.There will be lots of pictures! We would also like to do gear reviews for the equipment and clothing that see some adventure (although the gear reviews may be in a different blog).
And just to clarify something. It seems that most for many people, when you say "backpacking", they think "travelling to cities and going to europe and what not". This is typically not our kind of "backpacking". We travel to national and provincial parks to hike out into the wild with everything needed to survive in the packs on our backs. Hiking from one campsite to another, away from roads and the grind of regular city life.
